Before you pay anyone
- Check the school's approval is current — not just that it was approved once.
- Ask how many aircraft are actually flying, and the average hours a student gets per month.
- Get the fee in writing, itemised: what's included, what's extra, and the per-hour rate beyond the syllabus.
- Pay in stages against milestones. Never pay the full course fee upfront.
- Pay the school directly — not an agent's personal account.
